The last reference most aptly leaves us with the thought,
"Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long,
for surely there is a hereafter, and thine expectation shall not be cut off" (23: 17, 18).
The fear of the Lord covers the whole journey, from the "beginning" of knowledge
unto the "hereafter" that shall be enjoyed in His Presence.
May we learn these lessons for our present and future welfare.
