(Luke 4:21).  Isaiah 61:1,2 therefore has been fulfilled.  A great
dispensational break occurs at the end of the sentence 'to proclaim the
acceptable year of the Lord' for even now, nineteen hundred years later, that
'day of vengeance' has not yet dawned.  When that day dawns, the Lord will
come the second time as the Avenger of His people, and give beauty for ashes,
and the oil of joy for mourning.  The structure reveals this and briefly is

city of Jerusalem:
'Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more
be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi -bah, and thy land
Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married'
(Isa. 62:4).
'They shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and
thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken' (Isa. 62:12).
This blessing, of course, awaits the Second Coming of the Lord:
'Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh' (Isa.
