This booklet was originally written for use by the younger generation. Where one is born again and is, as it were, a babe in Christ, it is helpful even to an adult in years to have spiritual matters spelt out in an easy fashion. We hope therefore that this issue will serve a wider range of readers.

Everyone appreciates that a human child, above all, needs nourishment and every help to grow to maturity. Even so the child in Christ needs to go on to the perfect or complete man of God, able to use the Scriptures wisely, so that delivered from the bondage of himself, he at all times is able to sympathise and understand the needs of others. When in this state and attuned to God through Christ he will be able to offer comfort, strength and wisdom to the world and moreover find joy and peace for himself.
