Christ.  In all this we do not intend to suggest that the law of Moses is
untrue, or that any part of the Old Testament is less inspired than the New
Testament; what we seek to show is, that by allowing oneself to be occupied
with the truth that belongs to a dispensation past and gone, we allow the god
of this age, by the deceitful handling of the Word of God, to 'blind our
thoughts' and hide the 'gospel of the glory of Christ'.  It will be seen,
therefore, that the principle of rightly dividing the Word of truth is of
supreme importance to all believers, for its neglect may veil the glory of
the ascended Lord.
